Winmate M900MGN 8″ Rugged Android Tablet with MediaTek Genio 510 and Android 13

An 8 inch tablet is often a good compromise for field service and inspection: big enough for forms and drawings, small enough to carry between jobs. The M900MGN is Winmate’s 8 inch Android rugged tablet for that work, built around a MediaTek Genio 510 with an 8″ 1280 x 800 touch screen and an IP65 housing. Winmate names field service, inspection and industrial mobility as its intended uses.

The Genio 510 has six cores, two Arm Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 at 2.0 GHz, with 4 GB of memory, 64 GB of eMMC storage and a Micro SD slot, running Android 13. Winmate lists SOTI MobiControl support for device management. The IPS display gives 800 nits and 1500:1 contrast, is optically bonded with an anti-glare treatment, and works with bare hands, gloves or in rain mode. An 8MP front camera, a 13MP autofocus rear camera, two digital microphones and three programmable function keys are built in.

Connections are an RJ45 LAN port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port and a USB 2.0 Type-C OTG port that supports PD 3.0 charging. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS with AGPS are standard, with 4G/LTE, an NFC reader and a 1D/2D barcode reader as options. Within the Winmate range the M900EK is an 8 inch rugged tablet with an Intel Celeron N6211 and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, and the M700DQ9 is a 7″ Android tablet with a Qualcomm QCS6490 and a 20-hour battery.

The M900MGN is sealed to IP65 and tested to MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, including Method 516.8 for 5 ft drops. It runs from -20 to 60 °C at 10 to 90% humidity and carries CE and FCC marks. A 4200 mAh Li-polymer battery runs it away from the dock, and a desk dock, vehicle dock, cradle and 100 W PD adapter are options, with a 19 V adapter and power cord in the box. We supply the M900MGN configured, with the OS installed, and tested, ready to deploy.
