Winmate R08IE3S-OFU1 8.4″ Open Frame Panel PC with Intel Celeron N6211 and Resistive Touch

When the enclosure is part of the product, an open frame computer lets the builder keep their own front and still get a working HMI behind it. The R08IE3S-OFU1 is Winmate’s 8.4 inch open frame panel PC for that, with an 8.4″ 800 x 600 display at 600 nits and an Intel Celeron N6211 in a fanless metal frame.

The Intel Celeron N6211 is a low-power Elkhart Lake processor running at up to 3.0 GHz, which suits a single HMI screen, a data entry form or a status display. Memory is DDR4 on one SO-DIMM, 4 GB as standard with 8 or 16 GB as options. A 128 GB SSD is standard on an M.2 2242 B-key SATA slot, with larger options and an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied on the R08IE3S-OFU1.

Connections include two 2.5GbE ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port (RS-232 by default) and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, and two speakers. HDMI 2.0 is optional for a second screen and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the R08IAN3S-OFU1 keeps this open frame design with an Intel N150, and the R08IE3S-IPU1 is the front IP65 version with the same processor.

Power is 12 V DC on a barrel jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 50 W and a power cord supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 to 60 °C. It is built as an open frame for a builder’s own enclosure or kiosk, with panel mounting and VESA mounting as options and VESA screws in the box. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R08IE3S-OFU1 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
