Winmate R08IE3S-VMU1 8.4″ Vehicle Mount Panel PC with Intel Elkhart Lake Celeron N6211 and MIL-STD-810G

In a forklift, a service van or a utility vehicle, a computer has to run from whatever DC supply the vehicle provides, survive constant vibration and fit into a small space on the dash or a pillar. The R08IE3S-VMU1 is Winmate’s 8.4″ G-WIN VM panel PC built for vehicle-mounted use in transport, logistics and field operations, with an aluminium housing, anti-corrosion treatment and a fanless design.

It runs an Intel Celeron N6211, a dual-core Elkhart Lake processor at up to 3.0 GHz with a 6.5 W TDP, which suits dispatch, navigation front-ends and job sheets. One DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM holds 4 GB as standard with 8 GB or 16 GB options, an M.2 2242 B-key SSD gives 128 GB to 512 GB, and TPM 2.0 is on board. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be installed, and Wi-Fi with an antenna is optional through an M.2 E-key slot.

The 8.4 inch screen is 800 x 600 at 600 nits, with resistive touch or protection glass without touch as options. I/O covers two 2.5GbE ports on Intel controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, one RS-232 port and an optional HDMI 2.0 output. The R08IAN3S-VMU1 is the same vehicle mount design with a quad-core Intel N150, and the R08T200-VMU1 is the matching 8.4 inch vehicle monitor for use with a separate computer.

Power is an isolated 10 to 60 V DC input on a three-pin terminal block, with ignition on/off control and an 84 W AC adapter as options. The R08IE3S-VMU1 is sealed to IP65 at the front, except the I/O area, operates from -10 °C to 55 °C and is tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 514.6 for vibration, with Method 516.6 shock testing optional. It mounts on VESA, with a yoke mount optional. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
