Control panels and kiosk fronts in bright or unheated areas need a screen that sits in a cabinet door or console and stays readable when the light is strong. The R08T200-PMT1OD is Winmate’s 8.4 inch sunlight readable panel mount monitor for those installs, with an 8.4″ SVGA panel at 1000 nits, resistive touch as standard and a -10 °C to 60 °C operating range. It pairs with a separate industrial PC over VGA, with HDMI or DVI as options.
The 8.4″ SVGA panel runs at 1000 nits with 600:1 contrast, 16.2 million colours and 160 degree horizontal and 140 degree vertical viewing angles, so the picture typically stays readable in direct light. Resistive touch is standard, connected over one USB port, and protection glass without touch is available as an option.
Video comes in on VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI inputs as options, so the R08T200-PMT1OD pairs with most industrial PCs and box PCs. An audio line in and two speakers are optional, and five keys (power, plus, minus, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu. VGA and HDMI cables and a manual come in the box. Within the Winmate range the R08T200-OFT1HB is the open frame model with a 1000 nit SVGA LCD and VGA input, and the R08T200-IPT1WT is the front IP65 version with a wide temperature range and resistive touch.
Power is 12 V DC in, and an AC adapter and power cord are supplied. The display runs from -10 °C to 60 °C and stores from -20 °C to 70 °C, at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. It is built for panel mounting in a cabinet door or console, and it carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R08T200-PMT1OD configured and tested before dispatch.
