Winmate R12IT3S-PPM2 12.1″ Panel Mount HMI with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and PCAP Touch

A 12.1 inch screen is a common choice for machine HMIs: big enough for a clear mimic diagram, small enough for a narrow cabinet door. The R12IT3S-PPM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch PP series panel mount HMI, with a 12.1″ 1024 x 768 PCAP multi-touch display at 500 nits and 178 degree viewing angles, driven by an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7.

The Core i5-1135G7 runs at 2.4 GHz with turbo up to 4.2 GHz and Intel Iris Xe graphics, with 4 GB of DDR4 as standard and 8, 16 or 32 GB as options, which typically gives the R12IT3S-PPM2 headroom for HMI software, a SCADA client or a browser-based dashboard. A 128 GB NVMe SSD sits in an M.2 2280 M-key slot, with options up to 4 TB, and an optional SATA III bay takes a 2.5″ drive up to 2 TB. TPM 2.0 is on board, and Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.

Connections include two 2.5GbE ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port (RS-232 by default) and one RS-232 port for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments, and two speakers. HDMI 2.0 is optional for a second screen, and an M.2 2230 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the R12IAD3S-PPM2 uses this PP housing with a 12th Gen Core i5-1235U, and the R12IT7T-PPM2 keeps the Core i5-1135G7 but adds DisplayPort, four USB ports and a PCIe slot.

Power is 12 V DC on a barrel jack, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W and a power cord supplied. The fanless metal housing runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and it is rated IP65 at the front, so the rear belongs inside a cabinet or enclosure. Panel mounting with clips is standard and VESA mounting is optional, with screws for both in the box. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R12IT3S-PPM2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
