Winmate R12IT7T-PPM2 12.1″ Panel Mount HMI with 11th Gen Intel Core i5 and PCAP Touch

Some compact HMIs need more than a screen and two USB ports: a card for a fieldbus, a second display or a barcode reader and a printer on the same unit. The R12IT7T-PPM2 is Winmate’s 12.1 inch PP series panel mount HMI built for that, with a 12.1″ 1024 x 768 PCAP multi-touch screen at 500 nits, an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 and a PCIe expansion slot.

The Core i5-1135G7 runs at 2.4 GHz with turbo up to 4.2 GHz and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Two non-ECC SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory, and a 128 GB NVMe SSD sits in an M.2 2280 M-key slot with options to 4 TB, plus an optional 2.5″ SATA III drive. The PCIe 4.0 x16 slot, wired with x4 signals, can take an I/O or fieldbus card where the R12IT7T-PPM2 has to talk to more of the machine. TPM 2.0 is on board, with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Linux Ubuntu 22.04.

Connections include one 2.5GbE and one Gigabit LAN port on Intel controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 port (RS-232 by default) and one RS-232 port, DisplayPort 1.4 with optional HDMI 2.0 for a second screen, and mic in and line out. An M.2 2230 E-key slot takes optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Within the Winmate range the R12IT3S-PPM2 is the slimmer 12.1 inch PP model with two 2.5GbE ports and no PCIe slot, and the R12IAD3S-PPM2 moves to a 12th Gen Core i5-1235U.

Power is 12 V DC on a DIN 4-pin connector, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W and a power cord supplied. The fanless aluminium housing runs from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and is rated IP65 at the front, so the rear belongs inside a cabinet. Panel mounting with the supplied clips is standard and VESA mounting is optional, with VESA screws in the box. It carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R12IT7T-PPM2 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
