Winmate R12L100-PCM2(HB) 12.1″ PCAP Touch Monitor with MIL-STD-810G and Optional 1000 Nit Panel

A display fitted to a machine or a busy production line can take knocks and vibration as well as splashes at the front, and it still needs to connect to a computer that sits elsewhere. The R12L100-PCM2(HB) is Winmate’s 12.1 inch chassis touch monitor for that set-up: a 12.1″ 1024 x 768 XGA projected capacitive display in a metal housing, sealed to IP65 at the front.

The 1024 x 768 panel runs at 500 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 178 degree viewing angles. A 1000 nit panel is optional where the monitor faces strong ambient light or sunlight. The 4:3 format suits HMI and SCADA screens laid out for older square-format displays. Projected capacitive multi-touch handles swipe and pinch gestures through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a USB port for touch is listed as an option. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the R12L100-GSM2(HB) has an edge-to-edge front and M12 connectors, and the R12L100-VMM2 uses resistive touch with an isolated DC input.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 12.1 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -30 °C to 70 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It is tested to MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 for shock and Method 514.6 for vibration. It fits a standard VESA mount.
