Winmate R15IAD3S-MRA3FP 15″ ECDIS Marine Panel PC with 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U and 9 to 36V DC

A bridge console screen has to sit flush with the rest of the panel, stay readable from bright daylight to night watch, and power from the ship’s DC supply. The R15IAD3S-MRA3FP is Winmate’s 15 inch flat PCAP ECDIS marine panel PC for bridge systems, shipboard automation and offshore operations: a fanless unit with an anodised aluminium bezel, rated IP66 at the front, around a 15″ 1024 x 768 display at 500 nits with 2500:1 contrast.

The default processor is a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U at up to 4.6 GHz, with an Intel Core 5 120U at up to 5 GHz as an option. Memory is 8 GB as standard with 16 GB or 32 GB options, and storage runs from 128 GB to 2 TB. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied, though Ubuntu does not support wake on touch. That leaves headroom for ECDIS and other bridge software.

I/O includes two RJ45 LAN ports on Intel Ethernet controllers, two USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-A ports and one RS-232/422/485 port, set to RS-232 by default. HDMI, eight-channel isolated DIDO and four NMEA 0183 ports are optional. Front capacitive keys cover power, brightness, menu and a function key set to ECDIS mode, with day, dusk and night indicators. The R15L600-MRA3FP is the 15 inch ECDIS marine monitor in the same style, with no built-in computer, and the R15IAD3S-PMC3 is a 15 inch panel mount PC for dry control cabinets on shore.

Power is 24 V DC with isolation, with 9 to 36 V DC also accepted, and an AC to DC adapter is supplied. Winmate lists DNV-CG-0339, IEC 60945 4th edition and IACS E10 under certification, and notes that only the 24 V DC input is approved under the DNV certification. Colour calibration for ECDIS compliance is optional. The unit operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity and panel or VESA mounts. We supply the R15IAD3S-MRA3FP configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
