Winmate R15IT7T-PMC3 15″ XGA Panel Mount PC with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and PCIe Expansion

On a control cabinet door the computer has to fit a standard cut-out, sit flush with the panel and still leave room for the extra I/O that a machine builder needs. The R15IT7T-PMC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch panel mount panel PC: a fanless metal housing with a 4:3 display that clamps into a 360 x 274 mm cut-out, with VESA holes on the rear as an alternative.

It uses an Intel Core i5-1135G7, a Tiger Lake processor from 2.4 GHz up to 4.2 GHz, with the vPro i5-1145G7E listed as an alternative. Memory starts at one DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM with 4 GB and can grow to 64 GB across two sockets, while storage is an M.2 NVMe SSD from 128 GB up to 2 TB plus an optional 2.5 inch SATA bay. The 1024 x 768 display is rated at 300 nits with a 2000:1 contrast ratio and 176° viewing angles, and resistive touch or plain protection glass can be specified. Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, Windows 11 Pro, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise or Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied as the operating system image.

The I/O comprises four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one RS-232/422/485 and one RS-232 port, two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel controllers, a DisplayPort 1.4 output with HDMI 2.0 as an option, and mic-in and line-out. An M.2 E-key slot takes a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module, and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (x4 signal) takes an add-in card such as extra serial, fieldbus or capture I/O. The R15IT7T-CHC3 is the same computer in a VESA chassis, and the R15IT7T-PPC3 is the 15 inch panel mount model with PCAP touch and a front IP65 aluminium bezel.

Power is 12 V DC on a DIN 4-pin connector, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter rated at 120 W supplied. The R15IT7T-PMC3 operates from 0 to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity non-condensing, stores from -10 to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 400 x 320 x 70 mm, weighs 4.2 kg and ships with mounting clips and VESA screws.
