Winmate R15MG3S-GCC3 15″ G-WIN Front IP65 Panel PC with MediaTek Genio 510 and MIL-STD-810H

A 15 inch 4:3 screen is still the default size for many machine HMIs and line-side terminals, because existing screen layouts and panel cut-outs were drawn around it. The R15MG3S-GCC3 is Winmate’s 15 inch G-WIN panel PC for that job: a fanless unit in an aluminium housing, with an edge-to-edge true flat front rated IP65 at the front, projected capacitive multi-touch and a 15″ 1024 x 768 display at 300 nits, or 1000 nits as an option, with 2000:1 contrast.

Inside is a MediaTek Genio 510, a six-core Arm processor with two Cortex-A78 and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, with 4 GB of LPDDR4 and 32 GB of onboard storage plus a Micro SD slot. Android 13 is the default operating system, with Yocto Linux (kernel 5.15.47 with Qt 5.15) or Ubuntu 22.04 as options. That is usually enough for a Qt or browser-based HMI or a kiosk app, and the low power draw lets the unit run without a fan.

Connections are one Gigabit LAN port on RJ45, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-C OTG port and one RS-232/422/485 port, set to RS-232 by default, for PLCs, scanners and serial instruments. A Micro HDMI output for a second screen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and two speakers are optional. The R15MG3S-GSC3(HB) is the 15 inch G-WIN GS model, sealed to IP65 all round with M12 connectors, and the R15MG3S-67C3-P(HB) is the 15 inch full IP67 model with optically bonded touch and a heater option.

Power is 12 V DC on a terminal block as standard, with a 9 to 36 V DC input as an option, and the unit comes with an AC adapter. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -20 °C to 60 °C and is tested to MIL-STD-810H Method 516.8 for shock and Method 514.8 for vibration. It mounts in a panel cut-out or on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. We supply the R15MG3S-GCC3 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before dispatch.
