Winmate R17IT3S-MRM1 17″ Marine Panel PC with Intel Core i7-1165G7 and IP66 Front

Chart overlays, alarm lists and machinery pages need screen area, and on board that screen also has to dim for night watches and take the vibration of the hull. The R17IT3S-MRM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch marine panel PC for that job: a fanless computer with an Intel Core i7-1165G7, an IP66 front side and a powder-coated aluminium bezel designed for panel (flush) mounting in a bridge or control console.

The display is a 350 nit 1280 x 1024 SXGA panel with 1000:1 contrast and 170 by 160 degree viewing angles, and a front dimming knob sets the backlight from nearly 0% to 100% for night watches. Resistive touch is fitted as standard, with AR glass as an option. The Intel Core i7-1165G7 runs at up to 4.7 GHz with one DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM socket, 4 GB as standard and options to 32 GB. Storage is a 128 GB M.2 2242 B-key SSD with options to 512 GB, or an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD up to 4 TB, and Windows 10 or 11 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 22.04 can be supplied.

Two 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports on Intel Ethernet controllers connect to the ship network, alongside two USB 3.0 ports, one RS-232 port with four RS-232 or four isolated RS-422/485 ports as an option and a VGA output with HDMI as an option for a second screen. Within the same line the R19IT3S-MRA2 is the 19 inch version.

Power is a 24 V DC input with isolation that accepts 9 to 36 V DC, drawing 65 W typical, and a 12 V 84 W AC adapter is supplied. The fanless design operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity, with a 15 G, 11 ms shock rating and vibration to 0.7 g under DNVGL CG-0339 (Class A). Winmate states it is built and tested according to DNVGL-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10, and it carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 460 x 410 x 77.2 mm, needs a 405 x 356 mm cut-out, weighs 8.4 kg and flush mounts with the four M6 bolts supplied, or on VESA.
