In bright control rooms, kiosks and manufacturing areas, a standard panel can wash out. The R17L500-CHA1HB is Winmate’s 17 inch high brightness chassis monitor, with a 1000 nit panel that suits sunlight-readable installations, in a fanless housing that mounts on VESA.
The 17″ 5:4 panel runs at 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) with 1000 nits and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and Winmate quotes viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. That brightness helps where windows or strong overhead lighting fall on the screen. Touch is optional: specify resistive touch for gloved or stylus input, or protection glass without touch where the screen only needs to display.
Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs available as options, and touch data runs over a single USB port. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, and five keys handle the on-screen menu, with a remote control as an optional accessory. Within the Winmate range, the R17L500-CHA1TR is the transflective version at 350 nits, and the R17L500-CHA1WT is the wide temperature version, rated from -20 °C to 60 °C.
The R17L500-CHA1HB runs from 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and an AC adapter comes with it, along with a power cord, VGA and HDMI cables and VESA screws. It operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The 17 inch monitor cools without a fan, mounts on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. It pairs with the industrial PC of your choice, and we supply it configured and tested before dispatch.
