Kiosks and control cabinets in unheated buildings or warm plant rooms can sit outside the range of an ordinary display. The R17L500-CHA1WT is Winmate’s 17 inch wide temperature chassis monitor, rated from -20 °C to 60 °C, in a fanless metal housing that mounts on VESA.
The 17″ 5:4 panel runs at 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) with 350 nits and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and Winmate quotes viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. Touch is optional: specify resistive touch for gloved or stylus input, or protection glass without touch where the screen only needs to display.
Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI or DVI inputs available as options, and touch data runs over a single USB port. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional, and five keys handle the on-screen menu, with a remote control as an optional accessory. Within the Winmate range, the R17L500-CHA1HB is the 0 °C to 50 °C version with a 1000 nit panel, and the R17L500-CHM1 has resistive touch as standard and optional SAW touch.
The R17L500-CHA1WT runs from 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and an AC adapter comes with it, along with a power cord, VGA and HDMI cables and VESA screws. It operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 30 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, and stores from -25 °C to 65 °C. The 17 inch monitor cools without a fan, mounts on VESA and carries CE and FCC marks. It pairs with the industrial PC of your choice, and we supply it configured and tested before dispatch.
