FCCS17L500-OFM1 Overview
Many machine builders standardise on a 17 inch 5:4 screen because their HMI software is laid out for 1280 x 1024. The S17L500-OFM1 is Winmate’s 17 inch open frame monitor for that format: an SXGA LCD at 350 nits with 1000:1 contrast, in a metal frame that fits behind your own front panel.
The panel shows 16.2 million colours across an active area of 337.92 x 270.336 mm, with viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically. Three front options cover most builds. Resistive touch works with gloves and styluses, SAW touch keeps a clear glass surface for good image clarity, and protection glass without touch suits display-only duties such as status boards.
VGA is the standard video input, with HDMI and DVI available as options, and a USB port carries the touch signal to the host. An optional audio line-in and twin speakers add sound for kiosk prompts, and a five-key OSD panel on the rear sets brightness and picture. The S17L500-OFA1HB raises brightness to 1000 nits in the same 17 inch frame, and the R19L300-OFM1 is the 19 inch equivalent.
The S17L500-OFM1 runs from 12 V DC and ships with a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and VGA and HDMI cables. It is fanless, operates from 0 °C to 50 °C and 10 to 90% non-condensing humidity, and stores from -10 °C to 60 °C. The metal frame measures 410 x 330 x 58 mm, with 75 x 75 mm VESA holes, and can also be panel mounted. It carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate lists industrial visualisation, control rooms and equipment monitoring as typical uses.
