When a display goes inside someone else’s enclosure, the builder wants a bare frame with the touch screen already fitted and nothing that gets in the way of the design. The W07L100-POT1 is Winmate’s 7 inch open frame touch monitor for that job: a 1024 x 600 LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch in a fanless open metal frame, with a VGA input and room for factory options.
The WSVGA panel runs at 320 nits with a 500:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 150° horizontally and 145° vertically. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB and supports multi-touch gestures, which suits compact menus, machine controls and self-service screens built for tap and swipe.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear of the frame. Where a single cable is preferred, the W07L100-POT1-C takes video, touch and power over USB Type-C, and the W10L100-POH2 offers the same open frame approach at 10.1 inches.
The W07L100-POT1 runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 190 x 139.6 x 34 mm and fixes by 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or panel mounting brackets, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
