A 10.1 inch screen can feel cramped when the interface carries trend charts, small text or detailed schematics. The W10L100-POA1 is Winmate’s 10.1 inch open frame touch monitor with a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA LCD, giving more than twice the pixels of a 1280 x 800 panel, with projected capacitive multi-touch in a fanless open metal frame.
The panel runs at 700 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 178° horizontally and vertically, so detail holds up when viewed from the side. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB and supports multi-touch gestures, which suits HMI and self-service software designed for tap and swipe. The active area measures 216.576 x 135.36 mm.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in and two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. Where 1280 x 800 is enough, the W10L100-POH2 is the same size of open frame with a 1000 nit option, and the W10L100-POH2-C runs over a single USB Type-C cable.
The W10L100-POA1 runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 262.3 x 172 x 37 mm and fixes by 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or panel mounting brackets, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
