FCCW10L100-GCH2 Overview
Machine fronts and control desks get splashed and wiped, and the screen face has to take it. The W10L100-GCH2 is Winmate’s 10.1 inch front IP65 touch monitor in the G-WIN GC housing: a 1280 x 800 LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch behind a front rated IP65, in a plastic bezel with an aluminium back cover.
The WXGA panel runs at 350 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically, which suits indoor HMI and monitoring screens. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB and supports multi-touch gestures, so operators can tap and swipe as they would on a phone. Because the rating covers the front only, the rear of the monitor should sit inside a cabinet or behind a panel.
Video comes in on a VGA input, with HDMI or DVI as factory options, and an optional speaker is available. A five-key on-screen display menu handles set-up. For outdoor installs the W10L100-GCH2OD is the 1000 nit version of this housing, and the W10L100-GSH2 seals the whole unit to IP65 with M12 connectors.
The W10L100-GCH2 runs on 12 V DC, with 24 V DC as an option, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -20 °C to 60 °C. Shock and vibration are specified to MIL-STD-810G Methods 516.6 and 514.6. The fanless monitor weighs 1.3 kg, fits a 75 x 75 mm VESA mount or a panel mount, and carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
