FCCW15L100-POB2 Overview
Machine builders and kiosk makers often want the display to sit inside their own enclosure, behind their own bezel. The W15L100-POB2 is Winmate’s 14.9 inch open frame touch monitor for that kind of build: a 14.9″ 1920 x 720 wide-format display with projected capacitive multi-touch in a metal frame.
The 1920 x 720 panel runs at 950 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 170 degree viewing angles. At 950 nits it is a high-brightness panel that suits brightly lit floors and shop fronts. The stretched 1920 x 720 format suits status bars, wide menus and machine-front information strips. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.
Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the W15L100-PPB2 is the panel mount version with an aluminium bezel and IP65 at the front, and the W12L100-POB1 is the 12.3 inch open frame model at 1000 nits.
Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 14.9 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks.
