Winmate W15L100-PPB2 14.9″ PCAP Panel Mount Monitor with 1920 x 720 LCD and 950 Nits

On an automation panel or a kiosk front, the display usually has to fit a cut-out, cope with splashes at the front and connect to a separate industrial PC or controller. The W15L100-PPB2 is Winmate’s 14.9 inch panel mount touch monitor for that installation: a 14.9″ 1920 x 720 1920 x 720 projected capacitive touchscreen in a metal housing with an aluminium bezel, sealed to IP65 at the front.

The 1920 x 720 panel runs at 950 nits with 1000:1 contrast and 170 degree viewing angles. At 950 nits it is a high-brightness panel that suits brightly lit floors and shop fronts. The stretched 1920 x 720 format suits status bars, wide menus and machine-front information strips. Projected capacitive multi-touch reports to the host computer over USB, so swipe and pinch gestures work through the glass.

Video comes in over VGA as standard, with HDMI and DVI as options, and a single USB port carries touch back to the computer. An audio line-in and two speakers are optional. Five keys (minus, plus, power, Esc and Enter) run the on-screen menu for brightness and input settings. Within the Winmate range, the W15IE3S-PPB2 is the panel PC version of this housing with an Intel Celeron N6211, and the W15L100-POB2 is the open frame version for fitting behind your own bezel.

Power is 12 V DC, with a 24 V DC input as an option, and the monitor comes with VGA and HDMI cables, a 100 to 240 V AC to DC adapter and a power cord. The 14.9 inch monitor runs fanless from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, stores from -10 °C to 60 °C and carries CE and FCC marks. It is a panel mount design.
