FCCW15L100-PPL1OD Overview
Outdoor kiosks and equipment fronts need a screen set flush into the panel that stays readable in daylight and keeps water out of the face. The W15L100-PPL1OD is Winmate’s 15.6 inch sunlight readable panel mount monitor for that install: a 1000 nit 1920 x 1080 LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch and a front IP65 rating, in a metal housing with an aluminium bezel.
The FHD panel has an 800:1 contrast ratio, 16.2 million colours and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically. At 1000 nits it keeps maps, forms and controls legible outdoors, and Winmate offers an optional UV film for solar radiation protection where the screen faces direct sun. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB and supports multi-touch.
Video comes in on a VGA input, with HDMI or DVI as factory options, and a 3.5 mm line-in and two speakers can be added. A five-key on-screen display menu handles set-up. The W10L100-EHH2OD is the 10.1 inch outdoor panel mount model, and the W15L100-PTA3-ME is a 15.6 inch FHD PCAP display with a front IP65 face for medical settings.
The W15L100-PPL1OD runs on 12 V DC, with 24 V DC as an option, at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing. The fanless monitor measures 404 x 285 x 59 mm, weighs 2.3 kg and fits a 369 x 243 mm panel cut-out, with 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 mm VESA holes as an alternative. It carries CE and FCC marks, and we confirm the operating temperature range from Winmate’s current specification at quotation stage. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
