Screens in theatres and clinical areas must meet medical electrical standards, and their housings are wiped down many times a day. The W15L100-PTA3-ME is Winmate’s 15.6 inch surgical display for those settings: a 1920 x 1080 LCD with projected capacitive multi-touch in a plastic housing with antimicrobial properties and a front IP65 face, listed against the IEC 60601-1 family of medical standards.
The FHD panel runs at 400 nits with an 800:1 contrast ratio and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and vertically, with a colour depth of 262K colours. The PCAP touch screen connects over USB and supports multi-touch, and a seven-key on-screen display menu with an LED indicator sits on the rear.
Video comes in on a VGA input, with HDMI as an option, alongside an audio line-in and two optional speakers. Winmate’s certification list covers IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC 60601-1-6 and IEC 62366, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1, EN 55032 and EN 55024, FCC Part 15B and EN 62368-1, with RoHS-2, REACH and WEEE compliance. The W32L100-PTA3-ME is the 32 inch surgical display, and the W15L100-PTA3-POE is a 15.6 inch FHD touch display powered over Ethernet.
The W15L100-PTA3-ME runs on 12 V DC, with 24 V DC as an option, and operates from 0 °C to 40 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -20 °C to 60 °C. The fanless monitor measures 388 x 233 x 40 mm, weighs 1.6 kg and mounts by 75 x 75, 100 x 100 or 200 x 100 mm VESA holes. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
