Nurse stations and clinical carts need a large touch screen that meets medical electrical standards and survives daily wipe-downs, without paying for 3840 x 2160 where records and dashboards do not need it. The W32L100-PTA3-ME is Winmate’s 32 inch medical touch monitor: a fanless, ventless 1920 x 1080 PCAP display with an IP65 front.
The 16:9 panel runs at 1920 x 1080 with 400 nits brightness, a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles, showing 16.7 million colours. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects over USB, and five keys along the bottom edge handle brightness, menu and power, with a remote controller in the box. The 1920 x 1080 resolution matches most records systems and dashboards without scaling.
Video inputs are VGA and HDMI, which suit the clinical PCs and cart computers already in use, and two speakers are built in for alerts. VGA and HDMI cables come in the box. The W32L100-PTA1 is the 3840 x 2160 surgical model with SDI and wider I/O, and the W32L100-PTA1-SDI adds 12G-SDI for theatre cameras.
Power is 12 V DC, with 24 V DC as an option, and a 100 to 240 V AC adapter is supplied. Winmate lists compliance with IEC 60601-1 edition 3.1, IEC 60601-1-6, IEC 62366, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 edition 4.0, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 799 x 478 x 63.7 mm, weighs 18.5 kg, mounts on VESA 200 x 200 or 200 x 100 holes and operates from 0 to 35 °C. The ventless design leaves no openings for fluid to enter the housing.
