Front IP65W32L100-PTA1-SDI Overview
Surgical cameras that output 3840 x 2160 over 12G-SDI need a display that takes the signal directly on one coaxial cable and can pass it to a second screen for the team. The W32L100-PTA1-SDI is Winmate’s 32 inch surgical touch monitor with 12G-SDI: a fanless, ventless 3840 x 2160 PCAP display with an IP65 front.
The 16:9 panel runs at 3840 x 2160 with 350 nits brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colours. Projected capacitive multi-touch connects over USB, and five keys along the bottom edge handle brightness, menu and power, with a remote controller in the box for adjustments at a distance. The ventless housing leaves no openings for fluid to enter, and the IP65 front takes the wipe-down routine between procedures.
Video inputs are 12G-SDI and DisplayPort 1.2, with HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 as options, and a 12G-SDI loop-out feeds a second monitor. Two speakers are built in, and RS-232 is optional. The W32L100-PTA1 is the version with dual-link DVI, VGA, 3G-SDI, GPIO and audio I/O, and the W32L100-PTA3-ME gives a 1920 x 1080 model with VGA and HDMI.
Power is 24 V DC, and a 110 to 240 V AC power adapter comes with DisplayPort, SDI, HDMI and USB cables. Winmate lists compliance with IEC 60601-1 edition 3.1, IEC 60601-1-6, IEC 62366, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 edition 4.0, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. It measures 799 x 478 x 63.7 mm, weighs 18.5 kg and operates from 0 to 35 °C. Mounting is on VESA 200 x 200 or 200 x 100 holes, which suits ceiling arms and cart brackets.
