Theatre and imaging teams need a large, sharp display that takes camera and PACS sources at once and can be wiped down between cases without vents trapping fluid. The W32L100-PTA1 is Winmate’s 32 inch surgical touch monitor: a fanless, ventless 3840 x 2160 PCAP display with an IP65 front and a housing with antimicrobial properties.
The 16:9 panel runs at 3840 x 2160 with 350 nits brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178° viewing angles and 1.07 billion colours. Projected capacitive multi-touch covers the screen, and five keys on the bottom edge handle brightness, menu and power, with an IR remote control supplied for adjustments from across the room. The resolution shows surgical and diagnostic images at full detail, with room for patient data beside them.
Inputs are dual-link DVI, DisplayPort 1.2, VGA and 3G-SDI, with HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 as options, and DisplayPort and 3G-SDI outputs pass the picture to a second display. RS-232, an RJ-11 GPIO port, USB 2.0, mic in, line out and two speakers complete the I/O. The W32L100-PTA1-SDI is the 12G-SDI version, and the W32L100-PTA3-ME gives a 1920 x 1080 model with VGA and HDMI.
Power is 24 V DC, with a 24 V power supply supplied. Winmate certifies the monitor to IEC 60601-1 edition 3.1, IEC 60601-1-6, IEC 62366, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60601-1:14 and IEC 60601-1-2 edition 4.0 for EMC. It measures 799 x 478 x 63.7 mm, weighs 18.5 kg, mounts on VESA 200 x 200 or 200 x 100 holes and operates from 0 to 35 °C at 10 to 90% humidity. The ventless design leaves no openings on the housing for fluid to enter.
