FCCW18L100-OFA2HB Overview
Large kiosks and consoles in bright halls or near glazing need a screen that stays readable and responds to gloved or stylus input. The W18L100-OFA2HB is Winmate’s 18.5 inch high brightness open frame monitor for that job: a 1000 nit 1366 x 768 LCD with a resistive touch screen in a fanless open metal frame.
The panel has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 16.7 million colours and viewing angles of 170° horizontally and 160° vertically, and at 1000 nits it keeps content legible in strong ambient light. Winmate’s datasheet lists the resistive touch screen as standard, with protection glass without touch as the alternative. Resistive touch works by pressure, so gloves and a stylus both work, and it connects over USB.
Video comes in on a VGA input, and HDMI or DVI can be specified as options, along with a 3.5 mm audio line-in with two speakers. A five-key on-screen display menu sits on the rear. The W18L100-OFA3HB steps up to a 1920 x 1080 panel at the same brightness, and the W18L100-OFA2 is the 450 nit version with SAW as a further touch option.
The W18L100-OFA2HB runs on 12 V DC, with a 100 to 240 V AC adapter supplied, and operates from 0 °C to 50 °C at 10 to 90% humidity, non-condensing, with storage from -10 °C to 60 °C. The frame measures 451.4 x 278 x 48 mm and fixes by 75 x 75 mm VESA holes or panel mounting, and the monitor carries CE and FCC marks. Winmate supplies VGA and HDMI cables, an AC adapter, a power cord and VESA screws with the monitor.
