FCCW55L100-MRA1FP Overview
A large screen on a bridge, in a shipboard automation room or offshore has to show a lot of detail and switch cleanly between day and night viewing. The W55L100-MRA1FP is Winmate’s 55 inch 4K UHD marine screen for those spaces: a 55″ 3840 x 2160 panel at 500 nits with 4000:1 contrast, 1.07 billion colours and 178° viewing angles, with projected capacitive multi-touch. It is a display, so it pairs with a separate computer.
OSD keys on the unit switch between ECDIS Day, Dusk and Night modes, so the screen can be switched for night viewing without a trip into menus. Colour calibration for ECDIS compliance is offered as an option. Touch is reported to the host over one USB connection, and one RS-232 port allows remote control. The W43L100-MRA2FP is the 42.5 inch 4K marine display with an isolated 9 to 36 V DC input and DNV-CG-0339, IEC 60945 and IACS E10 certification.
Video inputs cover old and new sources: one VGA, one DVI-D, two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort, so the W55L100-MRA1FP can connect to older and newer computers alike. VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, two HDMI, RS-232 and USB cables are supplied with a 3-pin terminal block. The W55L100-MLA1FP is the 55 inch 4K rack mount defence monitor.
Power is 100 to 240 V AC straight from the ship’s mains supply. The front side is rated IP66 and the fanless unit operates from -15 °C to 55 °C at 5 to 95% humidity. Shock is rated at 15 G for 11 ms and vibration at 0.7 g to DNV-CG-0339 (Class A), and it carries CE and FCC marks. It mounts on VESA, in a metal housing with an aluminium bezel.
