2 × SDI to HDMI/SDI Overview
Watching two SDI cameras or programme feeds side by side normally takes a multiviewer or two monitors. The Yuan 2 × SDI to HDMI/SDI is an SDI to HDMI converter with two SDI inputs that it combines as picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture, which suits small studios, live events and pro AV rooms with limited monitor space.
Inputs are two SDI connections accepting 3G-SDI at 1080p 60/50, HD-SDI at 1080p 30/25/24, 1080i and 720p, and SD-SDI at 480i and 576i. Outputs are one HDMI and one SDI, both up/down converted, plus two SDI loop-throughs carrying the input format. HDMI output covers 1080p down to SD and VESA PC formats from 640×480 to 1280×1024. Built-in interlacer, de-interlacer and 60 to 59.94 fps conversion are included. Audio is two channels, 24-bit, 192 kHz.
The 2 × SDI to HDMI/SDI runs from a 7.5 to 15 V DC input. If you need four SDI sources on one screen, the Multiviewer QUAD SDI gives a quad view. For two HDMI sources instead, the 2 × HDMI to SDI/HDMI offers the same PIP and PBP layouts.
No operating temperature or certification is published, so we treat it as an indoor desk or rack unit.
