Yuan 4×GMSL2 to Holoscan Sensor Bridge 4-Channel GMSL2 Holoscan Sensor Bridge with Fakra Inputs and SFP+ Output at 1080p60

Robots, inspection cells and other machine vision systems often use several GMSL2 cameras whose video needs to reach an NVIDIA Holoscan AI pipeline quickly and over more distance than a camera cable allows. The 4×GMSL2 to Holoscan Sensor Bridge from Yuan is designed for that multi-camera job. It aggregates four GMSL2 camera feeds into a single Holoscan Sensor Bridge output over fibre. Typical uses include mobile robots, pick-and-place cells and inspection lines, depending on the cameras chosen.

There are four GMSL2 inputs on Fakra Z-code connectors, each supporting 1920 x 1080p at 60 or 30 fps. Output is one Holoscan Sensor Bridge channel through an SFP+ fibre cage, carrying the camera video in its input format. Yuan specifies ultra-low latency for real-time processing, a modular and flexible pipeline design, and easy edge-to-cloud support alongside NVIDIA AI tools.

The 4×GMSL2 to Holoscan Sensor Bridge is compact and plug and play, and runs from a 12V DC input. For a single camera, the GMSL2 to Holoscan Sensor Bridge is much smaller and sends its output over multi-mode fibre with an LC connector. When the system also needs HDMI or SDI video, the HDMI2.0 / 12G-SDI to Holoscan Sensor Bridge brings one 4K source into the same Holoscan pipeline.

In practice the bridge mounts near the camera cluster, with fibre running back to the Holoscan system, so the computer can sit in a cabinet or equipment room rather than on the machine. We supply it configured and tested with the cameras, fibre and processing system it will connect to, so the full camera path is checked before it ships.
