Yuan AIR6N0-C-MB NX NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano Compact Carrier Boards with Video Capture Options

Video AI usually starts with a feed that already exists, an SDI chain, an HDMI monitor output or a set of cameras, and the question is how to put inference on it without a full PC beside it. The YUAN AIR6N0-C-MB NX series answers that with small carrier boards for the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Orin Nano Super modules, each the size of a business card, with capture and I/O on a matching expansion board above the carrier.

Every AIR6N0-C-MB NX board takes the Orin NX 16GB or 8GB Super at 157 or 117 TOPS, or the Orin Nano 8GB or 4GB Super at 67 or 34 TOPS. The carrier has Mini DisplayPort 1.4, Gigabit Ethernet, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port with device mode and eight MIPI CSI-2 lanes on a 90-pin connector for cameras or a capture card. Two M.2 2230 slots give Key M at PCIe Gen4 x2 for NVMe and Key E at Gen4 x1 for wireless (Gen3 on the Orin Nano). A custom connector passes two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, PCIe Gen3 x4, CAN, UART, I2C and GPIO up to the expansion board, which is where the variants differ.

The range has eight builds. The AIR6N0-C-MB NX is the carrier alone. The AIR6N0-C-MB NX IO adds RS232, RS485, microSD and an M.2 2280 slot, and the AIR6N0-C-MB NX 4xUSB3.2 adds four USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports. The AIR6N0-C-MB NX 4xGMSL2 takes four GMSL2 cameras at up to 1080p60 with CAN on DB9. The AIR6N0-C-MB NX HDMI2.0 and AIR6N0-C-MB NX HDMI2.1 capture one HDMI source at up to 4K60 with loop-out. The AIR6N0-C-MB NX 12G-SDI captures one 12G-SDI source with loop-out, and the AIR6N0-C-MB NX 12G-SDI QL takes four SDI inputs for one 12G-SDI, quad-link 3G-SDI or four 3G-SDI sources.

The AIR6N0-C-MB NX boards take 12-36 V DC and are rated from 0 to +60 °C with airflow, with CE and FCC marks and JetPack 6.2 or later. On the Orin NX the hardware encodes one 4K60 or six 1080p60 streams in AV1 or H.265, and YUAN’s QCAP SDK covers capture, recording and RTSP, SRT or WebRTC streaming, while the QDEEP SDK adds detection, segmentation, OCR and licence plate recognition models. YUAN positions the series for broadcast, medical imaging, robotics and inspection, where a space-saving carrier board sits close to the source.
