Yuan HDMI2.0 Splitter Four-Output HDMI Splitter with HDMI 2.0, 1080p Down-Scaling and 3D at 4K60

Meeting rooms, lecture spaces, control rooms and retail displays often need one HDMI source shown on several screens at once, and those screens are rarely all the same model or age. The HDMI2.0 Splitter from Yuan handles that job for pro AV and display installations. It is a one-in, four-out HDMI 2.0 reclocking distribution amplifier that keeps 4K60 sources intact while giving older displays a picture they can accept.

The input is one HDMI 2.0 connector and the outputs are four HDMI 2.0 connectors, each passing the input format through. Supported input formats run from 4096 x 2160p and 3840 x 2160p at 60/50 and 30/25/24 fps, through 1080p, 1080i and 720p, down to PC resolutions from 1280 x 1024 to 640 x 480 and SD at 480 and 576 lines. Eight channels of 24-bit, 48 kHz HDMI audio travel with the video. A CSC matrix handles 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 conversion, four-to-one down-scaling delivers 1080p from 4K content, and HDMI 1.4 and 2.0 3D formats are supported.

Set-up is through a USB control application, and power comes from a 7.5V to 15V DC input. When each screen needs to show a different source, the HDMI2.0 4×4 Matrix routes any of four inputs to any of four outputs. When one of the displays is in another room, the HDMI2.0 to Copper carries the signal over Cat.6A copper to a matching receiver.

In practice the HDMI2.0 Splitter sits beside the source in an AV rack or lectern. We supply it configured and tested with the sources, displays and cabling it will connect to, including a check of the scaling and colour settings each screen needs.
