Yuan PD570 TVI USB TVI Capture Card with 1080p30 Input

HD-TVI cameras carry HD video over coaxial cable, which makes them a common choice in camera installations, but a PC cannot take that signal directly. The PD570 TVI is Yuan’s USB TVI capture card for HD-TVI, taking one TVI camera at up to 1920 x 1080 and 30 fps and delivering it to the host over USB 3.0. It suits viewing, recording or analysing a single coaxial camera from a laptop or compact PC.

For TVI and the compatible analogue HD formats Yuan lists, the input accepts 1920 x 1080 at 30, 25 or 24 fps, 1080i at 60 or 50 fields, and 1280 x 720 at 60 or 50 fps. For 960H and CVBS cameras it accepts 960 x 480i and 720 x 480i at 60 fields, and 960 x 576i and 720 x 576i at 50 fields. Output over USB matches the input resolution, delivered in YUY2. A 3.5 mm analogue stereo input captures audio at 16-bit, 48 kHz.

The capture card is an external USB unit that connects through a USB 3.0 Type B port and appears to the host as a UVC device, so nothing has to be fitted inside the host. Where more cameras have to be captured, the SC400N4-L TVI takes four TVI inputs on a PCIe card, and the SC400N4 MC TVI fits four TVI inputs into a Mini PCIe slot.

Yuan lists Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 in 32-bit and 64-bit editions, together with Linux, macOS and Android, which lets the card work with Windows, Linux and Mac hosts. Yuan’s model page does not give dimensions or an operating temperature range, so ask us for both where the card will sit in a cabinet or vehicle.
