Yuan SC5A0N4 SDI PCIe SDI Capture Card with 4 x SDI Inputs and 1080p30 Capture

Four SDI cameras on a stage, a test bench or a site perimeter all need recording at the same time, and each extra card takes another slot and another driver instance. The SC5A0N4 SDI is Yuan’s four-channel PCIe SDI capture card that brings all four feeds into one PCIe x4 slot, compressing them on the card with an H.26X encoder.

Each SDI input accepts 1920 x 1080p at 60/50 fps and captures at 30/25 fps. HD-SDI sources run at 1080p30/25/24, 1080i60/50 and 720p60/50, and SD-SDI at 720 x 480i60 and 720 x 576i50. It delivers RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4, YUY2 at 4:2:2 and YV12 or NV12 at 4:2:0, which lets software pick the format its encoder or vision library expects. Each channel captures stereo embedded audio at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz.

The card uses a PCIe x4 Gen2 slot and supports multiple instances and multiple cards per host, with cropping and scaling, automatic signal detection and deinterlacing on board, plus 16 GPIO and a watchdog. Yuan supplies a Windows and Linux SDK for custom applications, and DirectShow and V4L2 compatibility means tools such as OBS, vMix, Cisco Webex and Zoom can open the card directly. The SC5A0N4-L SDI carries the same four SDI channels on a lower 65.95 mm board, and the SC5C0N4 SDI captures four SDI feeds at 1080p60.

Drivers cover Windows 7 to Windows 10, Linux 2.6.14 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit form, Linux on ARM and the NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. So a four-camera recorder can run on Windows, Linux or a Jetson module with the same card. The board measures 140.51 x 101.01 mm.
