Yuan SC5C0N2 HDV PCIe HDMI, DVI and VGA Capture Card with 2-Channel Capture at 1080p60

Some recordings need two screens captured together: a presenter’s laptop and a document camera, two instruments on a test bench, or a medical imaging display next to a room camera. The SC5C0N2 HDV is Yuan’s two-channel PCIe HDMI, DVI and VGA capture card for that, with two DVI-I inputs that take HDMI, VGA, YPbPr, S-Video and composite, both captured at up to 1080p60.

Each channel captures 1920 x 1080p at 60/50 fps and takes 1920 x 1200 sources at up to 60/50 fps in, captured at 30/25 fps. Computer modes from 640 x 480 to 1280 x 1024 are listed, and composite and S-Video run at 720 x 576i50 and 720 x 480i60. It delivers RGB24 and RGB32 at 4:4:4, YUY2 at 4:2:2 and YV12 or NV12 at 4:2:0, which lets software pick the format its encoder or vision library expects. Each channel captures stereo embedded audio at 16-bit and 32 to 48 kHz.

The card uses a PCIe x1 Gen2 slot and supports multiple instances and multiple cards per host, with cropping and scaling, automatic signal detection, deinterlacing, 16 GPIO and a watchdog. Yuan supplies a Windows and Linux SDK for custom applications, and DirectShow and V4L2 compatibility means tools such as OBS, vMix, Cisco Webex and Zoom can open the card directly. The SC5A0N2 HDV is the two-channel DVI card at 1080p30, and the SC5C0N1-L HDV records one DVI-I source with loop-through outputs.

Drivers cover Windows 7 to Windows 10, Linux 2.6.14 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit form, Linux on ARM and the NVIDIA Jetson TX2, Nano, AGX Xavier and Xavier NX. So a two-screen recorder can run on Windows, Linux or a Jetson edge unit. The board measures 133.73 x 84.5 mm.
