SC6E0N1 HDMI to IP/UVC V2 Overview
Many HDMI sources, from presentation PCs to compact cameras, only need to reach the network at 1080p. The Yuan SC6E0N1 HDMI to IP/UVC V2 is a small HDMI streaming encoder for that job, publishing the source as a network stream and presenting it to a PC as a USB UVC device, which can make it easier to bring an HDMI camera into conferencing or capture software.
It takes one HDMI input at up to 1920×1080 at 60fps, with 1080i, 720p and PC modes down to 640×480, and encodes H.264 at Baseline, Main or High profile with AAC-LC audio. Outputs are the gigabit RJ45 port and a USB 3.0 Type-B UVC port. The SC6E0N1 HDMI to IP/UVC V2 lists Full NDI, with NDI HX and Dante AV-H as optional licensed protocols, plus RTSP, RTMP, HLS, TS over UDP and SRT.
Configuration is through a web interface with upgradable firmware and DHCP. Power comes from PoE or a 12V DC input, so one cable can often serve a lectern or ceiling position. The SC6E0N1 IP/UVC to HDMI2.0 V2 is the matching decoder at the display end, and the SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 is the step up when the source is 4K60.
Because the network stream and the UVC output run together, one source can reach a remote room and a local capture PC from the same encoder. Confirm which protocol the receiving end expects before choosing licences.
