SC6E0N1 IP/UVC to HDMI2.0 V2 Overview
At the receiving end of an AV over IP link, something has to turn the stream back into a picture. The Yuan SC6E0N1 IP/UVC to HDMI2.0 V2 is a single-channel IP video decoder that does that for HDMI 2.0 and SDI displays, and can also take a USB UVC camera directly, which can help where a webcam-style source needs to reach a monitor or switcher.
Input is a stream on the gigabit RJ45 port or a USB 3.0 Type-A UVC device. Outputs are one HDMI 2.0 port, from 4096×2160 at 60fps down to 1080p, 720p and PC modes to 640×480, and one 3G-SDI port. It decodes H.264 Baseline, Main and High profile streams with AAC-LC audio. The SC6E0N1 IP/UVC to HDMI2.0 V2 accepts RTSP, RTMP, HLS, TS over UDP and SRT, with NDI HX and Dante AV-H as optional protocols that need a licence.
Setup is through a web interface with upgradable firmware, and the unit gets an address by DHCP. It runs from PoE or a 12V DC input in a small flanged enclosure. A natural source is the SC6E0N1 HDMI to IP/UVC V2, its encoding partner for 1080p60 HDMI, or the SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 where the source is 4K60.
With HDMI and SDI outputs on one unit, the same decoder can feed a display and an SDI monitor or recorder at the same position. Matching protocol and resolution at both ends is the main thing to settle before installation.
