USB3SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 Overview
A single unit that can encode, decode and also hand the picture to a PC as a webcam can cover several jobs on one AV network. The Yuan SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 is an HDMI 2.0 encoder and decoder that does all three, which can suit streaming desks, lecture capture and pro AV installs that move between sending and receiving.
It has one HDMI 2.0 input and one HDMI 2.0 output with analogue stereo audio, at 4096×2160 and 3840×2160 up to 60fps and down to 720p and PC modes. A front-panel USB 3.0 UVC output gives NV12 at 2160p30, YUY2 or NV12 at 1080p60, and MJPEG or H.264 at 2160p60. The SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 encodes H.264 at Baseline, Main or High profile up to 64Mbps with AAC-LC audio, and lists Dante AV-H, Full NDI, NDI HX, TS over UDP, RTSP, RTMP, HLS and SRT.
A web interface, upgradable firmware, DHCP and NTP cover setup, with RS232, RS485, two USB 2.0 ports and a USB 3.0 port for recording MP4, TS or MOV. Power is IEEE 802.3at PoE+ or 12V DC. The SC6G0N1 HDMI2.0 to IP/UVC V2 is the encode-only version for tighter spaces, and the SC6F0N1 HDMI2.0 PRO adds a loop-through output and optional genlock.
Because the same model can encode, decode or act as a webcam source, it can reduce the number of different units held as spares across a site.
