Antaira LNP-0602-ST-M-T 6-Port 10/100 Unmanaged Industrial Network Switch with 4x PoE+, 2x 100FX ST Multi-mode Fibre and -40 to 75 °C

A string of cabinets along a road, across a water treatment site or down a production line is easier to link with fibre in and fibre out than with a separate run from each one back to the core. The LNP-0602-ST-M-T is the extended temperature multi-mode ST model in the Antaira LNP-0602 series: a six-port industrial unmanaged PoE switch with two fibre ports for that daisy chain and four PoE+ ports for local devices, rated for unheated outdoor cabinets.

Four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port with auto MDI/MDI-X. Two 100Base-FX multi-mode ports with ST connectors take 50/125 to 62.5/125 µm fibre and reach up to 2 km, one link upstream and one onward. The LNP-0602-ST-S3-T is the single-mode 30 km alternative, and the LNP-0602-M-T uses SC connectors. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1.0 Gbps backplane with broadcast storm protection, so traffic flows with no set-up.

Power arrives on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a removable 4-contact terminal block, so a second supply can take over if the first fails. Antaira rates PoE output at 30 W per port from 51 to 55 V DC and 25 W per port at 48 V DC. Reverse polarity protection is built in, with EFT protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC, and one relay output signals a port break, which on a fibre chain points to the failed link.

The LNP-0602-ST-M-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 aluminium case, mounts on a DIN rail, with wall mounting included, and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0602-ST-M is the standard temperature model, and the LNP-0501-ST-M-T has one fibre port where no onward link is needed.
