Arestech TPM-S3315PW/RW 15.6" Full HD PCAP or Resistive Stainless Steel Touch Monitors with Front IP66/IP69K

Newer HMI and dashboard software is usually drawn for a widescreen Full HD display, and on a food or beverage line that display has to be cleaned with the equipment around it. The Arestech TPM-S3315PW/RW series is built for that job: 15.6″ stainless steel touch monitors with a true flat 304 stainless front panel, 316 optional, sealed to IP66/IP69K at the front. The rear is an SECC steel back cover, so the seal rating applies to the front panel and the monitor is usually mounted with its back inside a cabinet, enclosure or machine guard.

Every TPM-S3315PW/RW monitor shares the same build. The 15.6 inch LCD runs at 1920 x 1080 in 16:9 Full HD (FHD), with 450 nits brightness, an 800:1 contrast ratio, 170° horizontal and 170° vertical viewing angles and 16.2 million colours. Within this stainless range it is the widescreen Full HD option, brighter than the 21.5 inch model. Video comes in over one HDMI and one VGA input, OSD keys handle power, auto adjust, menu, up and down, and a multi-language menu covers brightness, contrast and colour. A USB cable, a VGA cable and six panel-mount screws come in the box.

The TPM-S3315PW/RW series splits on touch. The TPM-S3315PW-A1 uses projected capacitive touch with a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency, connected over USB, for light bare-finger operation. The TPM-S3315RW-A1 uses 5-wire resistive touch with a 3 Mohs surface and 80% transparency, connected over USB or RS-232, the usual choice where operators keep gloves on at the screen. Both share the same LCD, inputs and front seal, so the choice comes down to gloves or bare hands.

Power is 12 V DC on a two-pin terminal block, with an optional 12 V, 60 W adapter. The 15.6″ monitors operate from -20 °C to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, non-condensing, are tested for vibration under IEC 60068-2-64 and shock under IEC 60068-2-27, and carry CE and FCC Class A marks. They mount on VESA or in a panel cut-out.
