ASRock Industrial iBOX-1315UE/D4 Intel Core i3-1315UE Fanless NUC Computer with 2x 2.5GbE and USB4

A screen behind a shop counter, a status display on a production line or an HMI on a small machine rarely needs a high-end processor, but it does need to start reliably, drive several outputs and keep running without a fan to clean. The iBOX-1315UE/D4 from ASRock Industrial is the entry model in the iBOX 1300/D4 series, a fanless embedded PC that keeps the full I/O of the range at a lower processor tier.

It runs an Intel Core i3-1315UE, a 13th Gen Raptor Lake-P processor with two performance cores and four efficient cores. Intel UHD Graphics handles video playback and dashboard rendering across HDMI 2.0b and three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, two of them over USB-C, at up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Two 260-pin SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB of dual channel DDR4 3200, so the unit can share memory stock with older DDR4 fleets.

Networking is two Intel I226LM 2.5GbE ports, one for the plant or store network and one for a local device or camera segment. A USB4/Thunderbolt 4 port, five USB 3.2 Gen2 ports and two USB 2.0 ports cover touch screens, scanners and storage, and a DB9 RS-232 port links legacy controllers or payment terminals. Storage is an M.2 Key M socket with PCIe Gen4 x4 for an NVMe SSD plus a SATA3 port, and an M.2 Key E socket takes a wireless module. Power is 12 to 19 V DC with AT or ATX power-on.

The iBOX-1315UE/D4 runs from 0 °C to 40 °C with no fan to clog or fail, and the 1.6 kg aluminium case can be VESA or wall mounted, with DIN rail available by request. TPM 2.0, a hardware watchdog and CE and FCC compliance come as standard. Where remote management or more compute is needed, the iBOX-1335UE/D4 adds a Core i5 with vPro, and the iBOX-1315UE/D4 remains the fanless embedded PC to choose when the display and I/O count matter most.
