iEP-7020E-001 Overview
Machine vision and safety cameras on a production line usually need both power and data, and running a separate PoE switch into an already full cabinet adds wiring and another device to maintain. The ASRock Industrial iEP-7020E-001 puts two IEEE 802.3af PoE ports directly on a fanless DIN rail controller, so cameras and sensors can be powered from the same unit that processes their data. It is the PoE model in the iEP-7020E series.
Inside is a soldered 13th Gen Intel Core processor, the i7-1365URE or i5-1345URE at 15 W or the i7-1370PRE or i5-1350PRE at 28 W, with Intel Iris Xe graphics driving two DP++ 1.4a outputs. Two DDR4 3200 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 64 GB with In-Band ECC, and Intel TCC and TSN support under Linux suits deterministic control traffic alongside camera streams.
Networking on the iEP-7020E-001 totals five ports: three Intel i226-IT ports with vPro and two Intel i210-AT ports supplying PoE. Four RS-232/422/485 ports, a 15-pin D-sub with 4 DI/4 DO, remote power and reset, three USB 3.2 Gen2 ports and one USB 2.0 port cover field devices. Storage is an M.2 2280 Key M socket plus microSD, and an M.2 Key E socket takes a Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 module. Power enters through a Phoenix-type terminal block for 19 to 36 V DC with OVP, UVP, OCP and 80 V surge protection.
The iEP-7020E-001 measures 68 x 170 x 134 mm, 13 mm wider than its siblings, and mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. This DIN rail controller operates from -40 °C to 50 °C with 0.5 to 0.8 m/s airflow, is rated for 5 Grms vibration and 100 G shock with an SSD, and meets CE and FCC Class A. For sites that need cellular backhaul or a 2.5-inch drive instead of PoE, the iEP-7020E-000 is the closer fit.

Official ASRock Industrial UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official ASRock Industrial UK distributor, and several ASRock Industrial ranges sit close to the iEP-7020E-001 for camera and edge work. The iEP-5000G offers a PoE model on an Intel Atom x6425RE for lighter gateway duties, and the iEP-6010E pairs NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX AI inference with a DIN-mount case where camera streams need on-device analytics. For larger GPU workloads, the iEPF-9020S-EY4 takes a discrete graphics card up to 275 mm long.
Across our catalogue, the iEP-7020E-001 sits with our PoE computers and our DIN rail PCs, where cameras and sensors are powered from the controller that reads them. Its fan-free design also places it among our fanless PCs for cabinets where dust and moving parts are a concern.
