The EMX-MTLP-125U-A1R is the fanless build in the Avalue EMX-MTLP series of Thin Mini-ITX motherboards, shipping with a heatsink for a 15 W Intel Core Ultra 5 125U.

The Core Ultra 5 125U is a Meteor Lake processor with 12 cores, 14 threads and a 15 W TDP, rated at 11 TOPS of AI performance, which suits HMI software, video playback across several screens, people counting and light inference. Two DDR5 5600 MHz SO-DIMM slots take up to 64 GB. Intel Xe LPG graphics drives two HDMI 2.0 outputs, DisplayPort 1.4a at up to 7680 x 4320 at 30 Hz, a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and internal eDP and LVDS connectors, with up to four independent displays.

Two 2.5GbE ports run on Intel I226LM and I226V controllers. Two rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and six internal USB 2.0 connections take touch controllers and cameras. Six COM headers, one RS-232/422/485 and five RS-232, and 16-bit DIO connect PLCs and lighting. Two M.2 M-key slots take PCIe x4 NVMe SSDs, an M.2 B-key with a SIM slot takes 4G or GNSS, an M.2 E-key takes Wi-Fi, two SATA ports add drives, and a PCIe x8 slot with x4 Gen 4 signal takes a capture card.

The EMX-MTLP-125U-A1R runs from 12 to 24 V DC with AT or ATX power modes, operates fanless from 0 to 55 °C with 0.5 m/s airflow and carries TPM 2.0 with CE, FCC and RoHS compliance. Where the workload needs more cores and the enclosure has room for a fan, the EMX-MTLP-125H-A1R moves to the 14-core Core Ultra 5 125H at 28 W.
