AVerMedia D115OXB NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX Fanless Embedded PC with Dual GbE and 12-24V DC Input

Smart retail, traffic and security projects often need AI inference close to the cameras, in a unit that sits quietly in a cabinet or ceiling void with nothing to service. The AVerMedia D115OXB is a fanless embedded PC built around the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, and it belongs to the D115 series. The D115OXB is supplied with a Jetson Orin NX 16GB or 8GB module, rated by NVIDIA at up to 100 TOPS and 70 TOPS respectively. That typically leaves room for several detection or classification models running side by side on live video. Two internal MIPI CSI-2 connectors, each with two lanes on a 15-pin FPC, take embedded cameras directly, so short camera runs need no capture card. AVerMedia publishes board support packages for JetPack 5 and JetPack 6.2, on Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04.

Connectivity covers two GbE RJ45 ports, one HDMI output at 4K and 60 Hz, and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of them inside the enclosure for a licence dongle or receiver. A 256GB NVMe SSD sits in the M.2 M-key 2280 socket, and an M.2 E-key 2230 socket takes an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth card. The 20-pin expansion header on a terminal block brings out CAN, two I2C buses, one UART and four GPIO lines for sensors, relays and machine controllers, and a Micro-B USB 2.0 port handles recovery flashing.

The D115OXB runs fanless from 0 °C to 60 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 85 °C and up to 95% humidity at 40 °C, non-condensing. Power is 12-24 V DC through a DC jack or a 4-pin ATX header, and AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and KC marks. We supply it with the Orin NX module fitted, JetPack flashed and the SSD installed, then test it before it ships, with any optional Wi-Fi card and antennas fitted at the same time.
