D133OXB-1 Overview
A computer on a gantry or a lamp post is expensive to visit, so it pays to be able to restart it and reach its console remotely, and to give it a cellular link where no cable runs. The AVerMedia D133OXB-1 is an industrial embedded computer with headers for both as options, and it is the Orin NX box in the D133-1 series. It uses the D133-1 carrier board; the D133ONB-1 is the same unit with an Orin Nano 8GB, and the D133OXB is the base build without those headers.
The D133OXB-1 is supplied with a Jetson Orin NX 16GB or 8GB module, rated by NVIDIA at up to 100 TOPS and 70 TOPS respectively, with power consumption from 17.6 W to 31.5 W. Two internal MIPI CSI-2 connectors with four lanes each, on 22-pin FPCs, take embedded cameras directly. AVerMedia publishes JetPack 6.2 board support packages on Ubuntu 22.04, and with the optional OOB module fitted Allxon provides 24/7 remote management with out-of-band disaster recovery.
The optional daughter board connects through 5-pin and 30-pin headers and carries an M.2 B-key socket for a 4G or 5G modem plus an M.2 M-key socket for extra storage. A 15-pin header takes the optional OOB module for power cycling and cloud serial console access. Networking is one GbE RJ45 port, with an M.2 E-key 2230 socket for optional Wi-Fi. One HDMI output drives 4K at 60 Hz, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports cover peripherals, a 256GB NVMe SSD is installed and the 20-pin header carries nine GPIO lines, two I2C buses and one UART.
The D133OXB-1 is fan-cooled and rated from -25 °C to 60 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 85 °C, on 9-24 V DC through a screw terminal. AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and KC marks with RoHS 2 compliance. We supply it with the Orin NX module fitted, JetPack flashed and the SSD installed, with any optional 4G or 5G modem, OOB module, Wi-Fi card and antennas fitted and tested before it ships.
