Axiomtek AIE100-903-FL-NX NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX Compact Edge AI PC with PoE and 4G LTE Option

A lot of edge AI is deployed one camera at a time: a car park entrance, a shop door, a bus stop. Each point needs a small computer that powers the camera, runs a model reliably and phones home over LTE. The AIE100-903-FL-NX is a compact edge AI PC from Axiomtek for that pattern, with an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX in a box 34.6 mm tall.

The Jetson Xavier NX 8GB pairs a 6-core NVIDIA Carmel Arm CPU with a 384-core Volta GPU and 48 Tensor Cores, rated at 21 TOPS, with 8GB of 128-bit LPDDR4x. The system boots from 16GB of on-board eMMC. That suits detection, counting and classification on a single stream, and the edge AI PC runs Ubuntu 18.04 or later with NVIDIA JetPack.

One GbE port comes from the module and an Intel I210-IT GbE port supplies up to 15 W of PoE, so one camera draws power from the unit. HDMI 2.0 supports 4K, and there is one USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0 port. The AIE100-903-FL-NX adds an M.2 Key M 2280 NVMe slot and a microSD slot for storage, and a full-size Mini Card slot with a SIM socket and two SMA connectors takes an LTE or Wi-Fi module. Allxon management adds remote monitoring and OTA updates.

Power is 12 V DC through a screw-type connector. The AIE100-903-FL-NX runs fanless from -30 to 50 °C in an IP40 aluminium and steel housing, with an optional IP42 cover kit, IEC 60068 shock and vibration testing, and CE, FCC Class A and UKCA marking. For current-generation compute in the same size, the AIE100A-ONX series moves to Jetson Orin NX.
