Axiomtek eBOX100A-N97-2E Intel Processor N97 Fanless Compact Embedded Computer with 2x 2.5GbE

A machine-side gateway often needs two wired networks and a radio: one port for the machines, one for the plant network, and Wi-Fi or LTE for remote support where cabling back to the office is not practical. The eBOX100A-N97-2E is the dual-LAN build of the Axiomtek eBOX100A series, a compact embedded computer that keeps a socket free for wireless.

The Intel Processor N97 is a quad-core Alder Lake-N part running up to 3.6 GHz within 12 W, with one DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM slot taking up to 16GB and TPM 2.0 on board. That suits protocol conversion, SCADA clients, light HMI work and edge data handling, and the compact embedded computer supports Windows 10, Windows 11 IoT and Linux.

Two Intel I226-V 2.5GbE ports sit on the front panel, and the eBOX100A-N97-2E keeps the M.2 Key E 2230 socket for a Wi-Fi 6E module, with a full-size Mini Card slot and internal SIM socket for LTE as well. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports, a Full HD HDMI output and a DisplayPort++ 1.4a output cover peripherals and two displays, and two RS-232/422/485 ports with auto flow control on top connect serial devices. Storage is a 2.5 inch SATA drive up to 15 mm.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC with ignition sensing and over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and reverse protection. The eBOX100A-N97-2E runs fanless from -40 to 60 °C with wide-temperature DRAM and SSD, measures 155 x 110 x 60 mm, and carries CE, FCC Class A, UKCA, UL 62368-1 and IEC 60945 marking. For more wired ports instead of Wi-Fi, the eBOX100A-N97-4E doubles the 2.5GbE count.
