The HPT193-CB-8640U is the six-core, 28 W build in the DFI HPT193 series of industrial Mini-ITX motherboards, with four DisplayPort outputs and the lowest heat load in the range.

The AMD Ryzen 5 8640U (Hawk Point) has six cores and 12 threads at 3.5 GHz base and up to 4.9 GHz boost, with a 28 W TDP configurable from 15 to 30 W. Radeon 760M graphics with RDNA3 cores handle 4K playback, and two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 96 GB at 4800 MHz. ECC memory support can help a player that runs for months between restarts.

Four DP++ outputs each run at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, enough for a four-screen menu board or a 2 x 2 video wall. Two Intel I226 2.5GbE ports can separate the content network from remote management. Rear USB is two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, with five USB 2.0 ports inside. RS-232 and RS-232/422/485 on DB9, two TTL and two ccTalk headers and 8-bit DIO connect sensors, lamps or a payment device on an interactive kiosk.

A PCIe x16 slot with eight Gen4 lanes, an M.2 2280 socket for PCIe Gen4 x4 or SATA storage and two SATA ports hold capture cards and media libraries. The HPT193-CB-8640U runs from 12 to 24 V DC on a 4-pin connector, with a DC jack on request, and operates from -5 to 65 °C, with CE, FCC and RoHS compliance.
