DFI PCSF51-BN-46R232 AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 (R2000 Series) Femto-ITX Embedded Board with 4GB DDR4 Memory and 64GB eMMC

Machine controllers, protocol converters and single-screen players often run one application that benefits more from a quick processor clock than from extra memory or graphics. The PCSF51-BN-46R232 is the R2312 build of the DFI PCSF51 series, a Femto-ITX embedded board with the highest base clock in the range and 4 GB of memory for lean, single-purpose software.

The AMD Ryzen Embedded R2312 runs at 2.7 GHz with a 12 W TDP, and its AMD Radeon Vega graphics have three compute units, with hardware H.265 encode and decode and VP9 decode for a single video stream or operator screen. Memory is 4 GB of single-channel DDR4 at 2400 MHz soldered to the board, and 64 GB of eMMC holds the operating system and application. DFI lists Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit, Linux and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS support, and a firmware TPM 2.0 is fitted.

One GbE port on an Intel I210AT controller connects to the network, and two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports take peripherals such as a scanner, camera or USB-to-serial adapter. An 8-bit DIO header reads switches and drives relays. The HDMI 1.4b output runs at up to 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz, and an M.2 E-key socket with PCIe x1 and USB 2.0 can take a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.

The PCSF51-BN-46R232 runs from 12 V DC on a terminal block, cools passively and operates from 0 to 60 °C, with CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance. The PCSF51-EN-46R232 is the same board rated from -20 to 70 °C, and the PCSF51-BN-86R234 moves to 8 GB and six compute units on the R2314.
