DFI RPP051-TCD-1345URE Intel Core i5-1345URE Pico-ITX Board with 2.5GbE and Extended Temperature

Outdoor HMIs, cold store terminals and equipment on unheated sites need a responsive interface at temperatures outside a standard board’s rating. The RPP051-TCD-1345URE is the extended temperature Core i5 build of the DFI RPP051 series, rated from -40 to 85 °C: a fanless 2.5″ Pico-ITX board on a 100 x 72 mm footprint.

The Intel Core i5-1345URE has ten cores and 12 threads at a 15 W TDP, running from 1.4 GHz up to 4.6 GHz. Intel Iris Xe graphics renders HMI graphics and decodes AV1, HEVC, VP9, AVC and MJPEG in hardware, and Intel AMT supports remote management. A single DDR5 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 32 GB at 4800 MHz.

An outdoor touchscreen can run from eDP at up to 4096 x 2160, with DP++ at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz for a second display. The RS-232/422/485 port and 8-bit DIO connect barrier controllers, sensors or relays, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports plus two internal USB 2.0 ports take readers and touch controllers. The Intel I226IT 2.5GbE port, an M.2 E-key socket for Wi-Fi and an M.2 B-key socket with nano SIM for 4G or 5G give a choice of network links, and a second B-key socket takes PCIe x2 or SATA storage.

The board runs from 12 V DC on a terminal block and cools through a passive heatsink. It supports Windows 11, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit and Linux, with TPM 2.0 and CE, FCC, UKCA, KC and RoHS compliance.
