DFI RPP171-IB-1315UE Intel Core i3-1315UE (Raptor Lake) Mini-ITX Mainboard with Triple 2.5GbE and Triple Display

Test stations, packaging machines and signage players typically sit in a heated hall and need dependable I/O more than peak clock speed. The RPP171-IB-1315UE is the six-core Core i3 build in the DFI RPP171 series of Mini-ITX motherboards, rated for standard temperatures and carrying the same I/O as the ten-core builds.

Its Intel Core i3-1315UE (13th Gen Raptor Lake) has six cores at up to 4.5 GHz, 10 MB cache and a TDP of up to 28 W. Two DDR5 5200 MHz SO-DIMMs take up to 64 GB, which leaves headroom for test logs and image buffers. Intel UHD Graphics drives two DP++ outputs at up to 4096 x 2304 and 60 Hz and a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, and DFI’s optional M2A module adds a fourth panel output.

Three 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226V and I226LM controllers split instrument, camera and factory networks. Four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485, two RS-232), 8-bit DIO, four rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and four internal USB 2.0 headers cover barcode readers, scales and PLCs. An M.2 M-key runs NVMe at PCIe Gen4 x4, the B-key and E-key take cellular and Wi-Fi modules, and a PCIe x4 Gen4 slot accepts a data acquisition or fieldbus card, with two SATA ports for larger drives.

The RPP171-IB-1315UE runs from 12 V DC on a barrel jack or 4-pin connector and operates from -5 to 65 °C with an active cooler and carries CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance. If the cabinet sees frost or more heat, the RPP171-IE-1345UE adds ten cores and a -20 to 70 °C range; for simpler control, RPP171-IB-U300E uses the five-core Intel Processor U300E.
