EverFocus eNVP-JOX-IV NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX Edge AI Box PCs with PoE-PD Input and 9-48V DC

Roadside cabinets and camera poles rarely offer a convenient power supply, and every extra injector or switch is another box to maintain. EverFocus built the eNVP-JOX-IV series of edge AI box PCs around that problem: one Gigabit port accepts PoE-PD power at up to 60 W, while other ports deliver PoE to cameras, so the computer and its sensors can share the same cabling. NEMA TS2 is offered as an option for traffic control installations.

Every model runs an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX with an 8-core or 6-core Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere architecture GPU with 32 Tensor Cores, backed by 16GB or 8GB of 128-bit LPDDR5. Storage is an M.2 M-Key 2280 NVMe slot, while an M.2 E-Key 2230 slot and an M.2 B-Key 3042/3052 slot take wireless modules, with 4G LTE (Cat 1) and GPS offered as options. The edge AI box PCs run Linux with NVIDIA JetPack 5.1 and above, and a micro USB console port helps with set-up and recovery.

The eNVP-JOX-IV range has four models, split by module memory and PoE count. The eNVP-JOX-IV-F3000 pairs an Orin NX 8GB with the base pair of Gigabit ports, one PoE-PD input and one 15 W PoE output, and the eNVP-JOX-IV-F4000 offers the same I/O with an Orin NX 16GB. The eNVP-JOX-IV-F3004 adds four more PoE Gigabit ports, which EverFocus lists for DC mode, giving six ports in total with the 8GB module. The eNVP-JOX-IV-F4004 combines those six ports with the 16GB module for the largest camera counts in the family.

Shared I/O includes two RS-485 ports on DB-9, two CAN bus ports on a terminal block, eight alarm I/O, four USB 3.1 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.0 output, plus SIM and micro SD slots. Power is 9 to 48 V DC with 12, 24 and 48 V ignition modes, and the EverFocus eNVP-JOX-IV series runs from -20 to 60 °C at 10 to 95% humidity, non-condensing. The 192 x 154.8 x 70.4 mm enclosure mounts on DIN rail, a wall or VESA, which suits junction cabinets, transport depots and perimeter sites where cameras and the edge AI box PC sit together.
